This young gentleman, a favorite and friend of all who knew him, died at the home of his father Wm. H. Luckett, at Luckets, n Aug. 30, in the 30th year of his age. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was in all respects a most exemplary young man. At one time he was engaged in the mercantile establishment of Mr. W. W. Chamblin, Leesburg, and was employed in business in Washington until declining health compelled him to retire from active life. Many of the young friends, whose acquaintance he has formed, would like to drop a flower of affection over his grave. His remains were buried at Lovettsville on yesterday beside those of his relations who have gone before him to that ?better land.?
